Our Logo

The colour purple is the international representation of solidarity in people with disabilities and special needs. It is a colour that unifies sectors in order to raise awareness on integrating communities serving those with special care needs. It also celebrates people who have fervently contributed. Indeed, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, which falls on 3 December every year, is themed purple.

The purple human figure embodied within the tooth exudes the hue of independence and dignity, representing our communities with special care needs. The outstretched arms reach far and high beyond the tooth itself. This signifies passion, wisdom and strive in our Association, which is synonymous with the iris purple colour. A halo encircles the tooth, symbolising equal access, integration and the holistic nature of oral health care that our Association aims to cultivate in Singapore.
